The Department of Management Studies at Syed Ammal Engineering College has established in 2009 with the vision of creating socially responsible leaders, managers and entrepreneurs. It is a two year post-graduate degree course in business management and administration. The course imparts knowledge and training of running a business organization successfully. It includes key aspects such as finance management, marketing management, operations management, Human Resource management and System Management.

The Department Management Studies has developed strong ties with the practical business world, and its academic members have established a comprehensive understanding of the challenges that organizations face by actively involved in research, faculty development initiatives and conferences, as well as coordinating numerous outreach and educational programmes. It enhanced our graduates can gain conceptual information that will help them handle real business problems and instill values and attitudes that will help them become effective organizational leaders.

Our MBA graduates have a practical understanding of business and technology that meets global standards and also allowing them to start employment with leading MNCs and PSUs in a variety of fields. Through our Entrepreneurship Cell and Incubation Center, we also encourage and support entrepreneurial ventures. We nurture our graduates to be emotionally intelligent by instilling human values and professional ethics, it enable them to be successful in their carrier.
